Being a professional wedding photographer, putting you in perspective on your most beautiful day and documenting your wedding, are both part of my profession. That also contains a photo-session prior or after the wedding in order to create romantic oder modern pictures. For that we travel to dreamlike beaches, walk to wonderful sunsets, visit historical castles, dive into endless nature or go to urban locations. You’re at the center of it and together we will design unforgettable memories!

To provide you with pictures at their best quality I am constantly continuing my professional development/training. Every year I am participating in professional workshops about art work and image editing, conducted by international wedding photographers. Also I am part of a professional network of wedding photographers so that in case of cancellation from my side an equal replacement can be guaranteed.

A lot of bridal couples may ask themselves this question since price differences between amateurs and professional wedding photographers are quite large. But what legitimates that price difference?
A wedding photographer has a lot of experience and expert knowledge that he will use systematically in every assignment. Unfavourable lighting conditions and other difficult situations that may be too demanding for an amateur are simply a routine for the professional.

A professional wedding photographer’s equipment has a high quality and is thus quite costly. But why does better equipment lead to better pictures?
A high-class camera offers various advantages: E.g. it can write on two memory cards at once, like this a backup of the pictures is being generated in the device itself. That means twice as much security for your pictures. Furthermore an costly camera provides a higher resolution, reagrding my camera it is more than 21 million pixels. This guarantees the usage of picture details in high quality for an album or print without any difficulties. Furthermore my cameras have full-frame digital SLR enabling great pictures even with little light.
However even the most modern technique doesn’t save from an outage. That is why I always have two camera bodies on-site to prevent unpleasant surprises. These can happen to an amateur whose camera doesn’t have an internal backup.
As a professional wedding photographer I use high performance optics. Specially coated lenses capture the motif perfectly and take the picture unaltered tot he sensor oft he camera. Most high performance lenses are also dust- and splash water-proof. Moreover these high-quality lenses have an aperture of 1.2 to 2.8 und enable great pictures even with little light in the church. Without high performance optics the poor quality of the lenses and their light intensity above 2.8 might lead to unwanted dark pictures.
No natural sunlight being availabe isn’t a problem for a professional wedding photographer. He has a flash unit that works without a direct connection for power supply. This ensures the success of the photo session regardless of weather conditions. My professional flash unit contains over 1200 watt and is therefore very suitable against direct sunlight compared to an amateur flash. Thus the bridal couple receives even with bad weather.
If equipment is damaged due to environmental exposures during an assignment the professional insurance of the wedding photographer will be liable and not you.
